High Five! ...Tees

Hand-ee Tee!

Hello everybody,

It's me again. Last minute news!
(I've got a feeling we're going to be getting A LOT of great last-minute surprises.
I told you the blog is the place to be, see? :D)

I've just been informed that this year's official Cinco de Mayo t-shirts have arrived at Frontera HQ. They look great!

Up there, you can get a preview for what they'll look like. Most of us have been big-time collectors for years, so this is awesome. Complete your collection at Frontera by partying there on Cinco. You know you want it, who doesn't? They look amazing and so will we in them.

For more breaking Cinco de Mayo news, keep it real at the blog.

80. Eaten Up.

Lucky Travellers!

Hello everybody,

How's everyone? I've been practicing my mad skills for Cinco de Mayo.
Can you believe it's only a week away? Wow... I know. I'm totally psyched already.

Anyway, we've got the world exclusive news before anyone else.

Our dear friends at Frontera have officially announced the winners of "Around Frontera In 80 Days". Third place went to Judy Housekeeper, who was very excited to have won a 15-day food card. Second place went to Alexis Kuhns, who scored a 30-day food card. First place went to Frontera enthusiast Beth Mundy, who will enjoy 80 days worth of free food with her handy-dandy food card. Isn't that amazing? Wow. Free food, great times... what a blast!

I understand that dozens of people participated avidly and wrote in frequently to comment on their experiences. Frontera wants to thank everyone who participated and to all those who completed the challenge, keep in mind that a $20 gift card has been issued and signed by Frontera's president, so those should be in all our mailboxes soon.

If someone out there didn't participate, 'twas a shame. A fun whirlwind tour of 12 restaurants can only equal one thing: great times. What I can reveal exclusively is that this won't be the last time this tour happens. It promises to be bigger and better, so let's all keep our eyes out for the next wave of contests.

In the meantime, countin' down to Cinco is exciting. I'm crossing my fingers and asking away for those tickets to win the weekend getaway to Myrtle Beach for Cinco de Mayo. By the by, if you'd like a ticket to try your luck, you can send your name, full mailing address, phone number and e-mail to:
Frontera Cinco de Mayo Getaway 2006
P.O. Box 2148
Tucker, GA 30085

Just a thought... but then again, who wouldn't want to enjoy a delectable meal and get the ticket in person? Well, I certainly will!

More Cinco madness and updates coming soon! Countin' down to THE DAY!
(Remember, Cinco de Mayo is Friday, 5th May!)

Keep it here at The Dude's blog for more info and funstuff.

Talk Cinco Talk? Walk Cinco Walk!

Just Beachy, Georgia!

Hello everybody!

I am back. The Dude is back. It's been quite a week, but... Man, oh, man... Have we got updates! :)

So Cinco de Mayo turf's on at Frontera. It's the official countdown to 5th May 2006.
It's that oh-so-magical day of fun and carefree laughter that makes us all giddy inside and kickin' up for more Mexican food and fun. It's all about giveaways, prizes and having a great time, alongside our favorite Mexican platters.

And this year holds no exception. It's going to take a few days to get all the information out of our friends at Frontera, who want to surprise us, but I'd like to confirm the biggest giveaway for this month. There's a contest running from this week to 7th May 2006. Two lucky people will get a 3 day, 2 night weekend getaway to the sandy beaches of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Yey! How cool is that?! Check out the contest rules and information at any Frontera today. You can ask your manager or server.

There's a lot more stuff comin' soon, so keep it here at the one and only Frontera Mex-Mex Grill blog.

The Countdown Hath Begun...

Identity: Cinco de Mayo.

Hello everybody!

Cinco de Mayo is approaching in a mad frenzy and here's yet another sign of greatness to come: the monthly coupons. They'll be sent out in a few more days' time, but we've got the exclusive preview that's a little more illustrative of what Cinco's all about.

"All For Cinco, Cinco For All."

That said, how true it is! Cinco's all about friends, family and community loving it, having fun and enjoying the party. Did you know that "cinco" is "five" in spanish? I think the fact that there's five fingers to a hand is what's making the "cinco" symbology be represented this way for this special day. Just an idea, I think so though. What do you think?

High five for Cinco! Keep posted to your mailbox for these great coupons... lots more fun coming our way soon. I've got the freshest scoop coming up!

Countdown to Cinco!

Come, Cinco, Come. Ah-Come-On-Now...

Hello everybody!

Yep. I'm back. And whoa! Have I got A LOT of new, great info to share with you.

It'll roll out over the next few days, but I've been promised a ton of UPDATES and great surprises and revealing secrets about Cinco de Mayo and all the good stuff going on at Frontera. There's going to be a lot of giveaways, as always a lot of fun, a great trip and yes, the traditional t-shirts.

All I've gotten so far is the image above that's a big clue as to the party motif that'll be celebrated this year. Wonder what it will be? So do I!

All in due time, all in due time. Enjoy April, these days the weather's looking nicer. How about a lovely night out with $1.99 Margaritas? Yum, yum, yum, ey? These are happening at the patio at Marietta on Thursday nights and the lovely décor of the Buckhead location come Saturday nights, mariachi band and all. Rockin'!

Oh well, I guess I'm just hungry. Which brings to mind the mention of the NEW menu items coming to Frontera soon. We'll preview them here soon and get everyone's feedback so we can know what to expect to enjoy over the next few weeks. Exciting times ahead, dear friends!

Take care and keep checkin' back, leave your comments (welcome, as always)... what do you think's going to happen this Cinco? What would you like to see? Post away!

All the best!
